BROWNIES, again.

Remember the call for brownie volunteers? I asked for some kind soul to dedicate their appetite to testing out some of my brownies to see how well they survive UPS. The last winner was Tasha in Tennessee. She said they were good, a little dry on the edges, but good. I want them to be perfect, so I am going to try again.

WANT SOME BROWNIES?

Add a comment by Saturday, November 1st at midnight so be entered in the drawing. Stalkers welcome. In the U.S. only please. Sorry to all of you outside of the U.S. Can we still be friends?

Best of luck!

p.s. I have a confession. I sent out two batches of brownies last time. When I did the last giveaway, I had a comment from someone named Tina Bee that said, "I think Me, Nicholas and Andrew need them the most! Stephanie would want that:)". Who was Tina Bee? Stephanie Nielson's sister, Lucy, a good friend of mine. Naughty Lucy, you can't just pluck at my heart strings like that. So do you think Lucy got some brownies too? Of course she did. And I would send her some again. I will never stop praying for the Nielson's, ever.

I think I would be the biggest tester of all since I am not a brownie fan but yet I am eyeing your brownies like a hawk...not to mention my husband would LOVE them!

Officially de-lurked. Although, I married a Wilkinson, which practically makes us family, right? :-)

I would LOVE to try your brownies, and since you now live in the 801 area code, the postage will be just minimal. Minimal, I tell you!

So please...send some to your sister-girl (ahem...that's me).

Mmmmmm....chocolate! I'd love to test your brownies.

I would love to test your brownies. Consider me an un-lurker.

I found your blog because my sister reads blogs that read you (from the Redhill Ward).

So here's my sob story. My husband suffered a massive stroke last year and I was 7 weeks from having a baby. He had brain surgery and was on life support for a week and in the hospital for a month. He had to relearn to walk and eat and what year it was. Three weeks after he got home, I went into labor and he couldn't even drive me to the hospital. He's 90% back but 3 weeks ago, he tore his achilles tendon right off the bone and required surgery AGAIN! He is now with cast and on crutches and uses a knee walker...we are in our mid 30's...uggghh....did I mention that we have 4 children and stairs...I NEED brownies. I love brownies. I live in Arizona and I'm sick of 90 degree weather and can't wait for it to cool down so I can bake brownies. Did I just say brownies like 3 times in one sentence? I just started my own food blog and have told like a million people that you are my #1 go to blog...you're awesome.
So how's that for trauma? Did you even ask for trauma. I'm sorry, I can do happy happy happy also. Did I just ruin my chances? tee hee

Katie, but how pregnant are you? I am at the 7 month marker. I think this is a special developmental stage when my little Nathan Parker will gain his love for all things brownie! I vote for me AND Katie!
Whitney, this is Amanda Johnson from CA, now living in the frozen north. To add to my cause, it snowed yesterday for the first time. That should earn me some brownies. And plus I love your website and am a lurker/stalker!

Amanda said...

oh crap, I only read as far as Katie's comment and skipped the one right before mine. I guess 7 months pregnant and snow isn't as bad as all that, so now I vote for me, katie and the lady above me! :)

You really should sent them to Colorado since we have the driest climate and it would be a really tough test for them...

I am a long time lurker and a first time commenter. And I need some brownies.

Okay, so how's this for more trauma...about an hour ago baby #4 flipped right out of my cart at Sprouts Market smack dab on the concrete floor. He was screaming, I was crying and I turn around and someone from my church was standing right there. I feel like the worst mother ever right now. I NEED BROWNIES!!!
(what is up with my trauma...I'll send in happy tomorrow, when I feel better..tee hee)

more than I do. so if I win can you send them to them? I'm sure they would happily taste test.

Okay, so no more trauma today...I hope...well it's only 7:30...we got the whole day..keep your fingers crossed.
My vote is for me because if I get brownies from my favorite blogger Rookie Cookie (who by the way inspired me to start my own blog), and my blogging friends find out, I will be a total ROCK STAR!!!

The Silagyi family needs your brownies! We're moving in with the in-laws for a year and you know how stressful moving is even if it's just down the street. Plus, it's always nice to butter up your Disney connection! Ü We miss you guys!

I don't have a very good story, but I do have three kids under the age of two. Think of Jack and then one year youger and then two Vans. As much as you love him two really is hard some days. Twice the work twice the love. I just need chocolate that I don't have to make.

I was just recently introduced to your website. My kitchen is being remodeled right now and is unusable. But I am filing away recipes to try once the kitchen is done! I would love to try your brownies. I've been missing home-made food. My husband and I have been living on microwavable t.v. dinners. Yuck!
