Around here, we get 'em started young.
Leftover steak=really happy baby.
Oh great, now I am going to get an e-mail from some concerned blogger who wants to tell me how to take care of my kids. Yeah, I have gotten a few of those. I am such a careless, irresponsible mom... blah, blah, blah.

Oh, whatever. I just hate those stupid comments from people who think they're perfect parents. Thanks for your congrats on our baby, by the way! And the book suggestion, I'm gonna check it out! How can you look at that picture and not smile!?
HA! I'm cracking up...he's totally fisting that t-bone! I LOVE IT! Finger foods are GREAT, aren't they?
you don't need my help to defend yourself from judgemental stangers who hide behind email....but just in case: I got yer back, Sista.
let the baby have some steak. iron is good for babies.
p.s. if he isn't the cutest little carnivore I've ever seen.......
Seriously, how could you take that away from him? He is smiling so big. My second was eating ribs (off the bone) before he had teeth but when you don't get your first tooth until after 11 months, you gotta do what you gotta do.
Absolutely priceless.
Adorable.
I have a picture (I need to pull it out of wherever it is) of R at that age, chewing on a t-bone steak bone, trying to get any bit of meat off of it.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
he's cute. perhaps too cute even.
my car got stuck in the snow earlier too. cyber high-five!
okay, if you don't watch scrubs that wasn't funny...
Whit that's gross!
i love it! beefy kids need beef, it's a fact.
What Ingram boys use for teething. Too appropriate.
BTW, Van is not going to choke on a piece of meat bigger than his chubby little hand. I think you are ok. Aren't you just being a cool mom?
I have a picture of Rand holding a huge slab of ham when she was small! Also, Van is not alone. Check out this link: http://thelifeandtimesofmissjen.blogspot.com/2009/01/hazels-not-vegitarian.html
that litl meateater is so adorable...
your recipies look delicious will have to try some out sometime
Dear Anonymous Blogger: one of the first things my kids eat is meat, actual meat, because I'd rather spit nails than feed my child something from Gerber. Amen.
And if anyone mentions "rice cereal" in my presence they get a smack.
Amen the sequel.
Is he not the cutest!?
I hate when strangers feel they have a right to offer you parenting advice, i.e. criticize our parenting skills! It's one thing from a family member or even a friend but that is it!
