What a fabulous giveaway! I would make my mom's famous beef stew (secret recipe, so sorry not to be able to share!) and would invite lots of people over to enjoy the last moments of chilly weather before Florida's full-on summer begins.
Wow!!! I would love to be able to make my yummy potato cheese soup! As a stay at home mom of three, I would never be able to afford such a nice piece on my own! My blog is private, but just in case I win, my email is LVMEXDER@AOL.Com
I have been wanting to make French Onion soup since its still so chilly where I live (plus I just love soup!) I would love to use the stockpot to make this yummy French Onion Soup recipe:
* 8 onions, sliced
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1/3 cup olive oil
* 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 8 cups beef stock
* 1/4 cup dry white wine
* 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
* 1 bay leaf
* Salt and pepper
* 1 loaf French bread
* 2 cups grated Gruyere
Directions
Saute onions and garlic in oil over low heat until tender and golden yellow. Sprinkle flour over onions, cook a few minutes more, browning the flour well. Add stock and wine and bring to a boil, add thyme and bay leaf. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer gently for 20 minutes or so. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
Meanwhile, slice French bread into 3/4-inch slices and butter both sides. Toast slices on griddle until golden brown. Ladle soup into an ovenproof bowl, add toasted bread and cover with cheese. Place ovenproof bowl on a baking sheet lined with tin foil. Bake at 350 degrees F or 5 minutes under a hot broiler.
Thank you so much for letting me enter your fun giveaway!

I would cherish it was an heirloom to make soups and stews in for my children.
I am not kidding when I say I have secretly been yearning or a nice one, one I could use for a lifetime, noe I could pass down to my girls someday with lots o secret recipes and a lifetime of cooking and laughing together.
I would make chicken and wild grain rice soup when they are sick--their very own request when they are under the weather! I would make use homemade chili, bean soup, tortilla soup and various other *comfort methods* in soup form on all sorts of cold winter nights. Soups for dunking with large chunks of homemade bread and biscuits. Soup for sharing with friends when someone is born, someone dies, someone needs a good meal to cheer them up.
It might sound hokey to some, but to me having the chance to have such a nice pot is really only a giveaway-type-of-chance since my single mom income can't pencil it in at the moment. And the gift to me and my family would be huge. Not only in me being able to make the things above and pass them down to my daughters, but for me to be able to make them at all!
Thanks for the chance to win such a lovely pot. Your blog is on my reader and remains a favorite no matter what!
Jenna B.

Secret ingredient is pickling spice.

The veggies make you feel healthy but the milk and cream make it so scrumptious! Add a little hot sauce and it is a definate winner.
That looks like the PERFECT vessel for the frozen meat bones hiding in my freezer waiting to flavor water and create a wonderful homemade stock. Next, I would take the stock and make chicken noodle soup with some homemade noodles and lots of spring vegetables!

The first time I made Albondiga soup, I sent it with my son Andrew for lunch. When he was dropped off from school, he ran in the house, threw his backpack, and said "where is it?" Curious, I asked what he was looking so feverishly through the fridge for he said- those "amazing meat things I had for lunch. "Oh, the soup I said," he replied "no those meatballs." So, I would make Andrew his meatballs. Albondiga Soup.

I would make chicken dumpling soup! Yum!!
I was just about to say "never seen as many exclamation points in my life", but then I read Meg's comment, and she pretty much summed up exactly what I wish I'd said.
I cannot, or better yet, will not, compete with 192 others. But just in case:
I've been answering tax questions for 3 months. I'm done. So with this pot, I'd print all of my answers onto recycled 8.5 x 11, put 'em in the pot, fill the spaces with H20 and boil for 8 frickin hours.
I thought about printing the IRS instruction booklets, but decided that it would not fit in 192 pots - even if I had 'em.
Who's judging this, by way? Please say Megan. She likes me.
Definitely a loaded baked potato soup--I've been itching to make a couple new soup recipes,so this pot would come in quite handy!
I would make a bunch of pasta and heat some sauce for spaghetti and meatballs.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I love that color! If I had one I think I would make chicken noodle soup. I have nothing to make it in and this would be great! my2littlepiggies at cox dot net
Looks great! I would make a fabulous tomato sauce in it.

Megan and Cat you to just crack me up! It is true it is a only a pot, but a fantastic one at that!
Oh, how beautiful! I would make the new recipe I saw on Rachael Ray the other day - Lemon Garlic Chicken Noodle Soup.... Yum!
What wouldn't I make in that is a better question. I would definitely make my mom's chili in this. What a great giveaway.
Oh my goodness. I have to pick just ONE thing to make? If I could, I'd make a whole meal! Spanish saffron paella for sure. Sigh...yummy cookwear, yummy food...what don't you do Rookie Cookie? ;)
