Liberty

I feel so liberated. I just deleted my Twitter account. I was over it and it was over me. Name dropping isn't my forte and Twitter became too much about that very thing. And it's too insincere and sincerity is something I am finding that I have been craving. So peace out to Twitter and all my peeps that I like on there. Just come here from now on and we'll converse without the 140 character limit.

Good for you. I actually got a twitter acct., suddenly got bombarded w/ emails from strangers, and canceled the acct. all in one evening. Too overwhelming.

I started on Twitter and just couldn't get why everyone loved it so much. You can only follow so many before it gets too confusing, and if you don't follow everyone they're following then you filled with weird messages like '@joeblow 'Oh really? Tell me more!?' but you don't follow @joeblow so you have NO IDEA what's going on.

And yeah, who invented THAT as a form of social networking? It seems to me to be the complete opposite.

Amen. I don't get Twitter and it doesn't get me. The only reason I use it is for the BBA bread group and when that's done, I'm done!

i'll admit, i'm getting a little sick of the invites to see naked women and men.

i'm about ready to give up blogging for pretty close to your same twitter reasons:)

Ever notice that twitter rhymes with
bitter
quitter and
whitter?

So Whitter is a non-bitter twitter quitter.

What is up with twitter anyway? I caved to peer pressure and got an account, but never look at or use it. It's a little too much for me. Who has time to blog, email, facebook, twitter and have a life? Hooray for you!

Liberty indeed. I deleted my facebook account, and have stayed away from twitter for the same reasons. Isn't it great getting back to a little more authenticity? I have to give you thanks though, for twittering about the library bag on my blog. I got so much traffic from that! You are one popular chick. ;)

I SO agree. I started it (just like facebook) but then I never use it. I don't get the point of it anyway?
