I wish

No, not yet. Baby sister isn't here yet. But the preparations for her arrival are in full swing. Just today, two of my sisters came over to scrub my walls and baseboards. The oven is clean, the onesies are hanging up and the new baby swing arrived the other day. I have plans to get a pedicure in the next few days and I am going to get my car cleaned too. My freezer is full of delicious meals to get us through our inevitable tough days and I have pizza coupons on the fridge. We are ready, or at least we appear to be. I am sure that once we are in the hospital and we are watching the contraction monitor rise and fall, we won't feel ready in the least.

As for these two little gents, they are excited. Jack especially.

Good luck. I am counting down too but I am not as ready as you are. But I know that before rushing to the hospital, I will clean the bathroom.

don't get the pedicure until you're ready to be in labor.....i had a pedi from my awesome visiting teacher (bobbie), and I went into labor with ava that very night! rumor has it that rubbing near the achilles tendon has a way of getting things started. good luck....can't wait to hear the good news & details. :)

Tricia's onto something. In Ayurvedic tradition the ankles have some something or other that can trigger labor. So if you buy into that, be careful. Or even if you don't.

Jack is like a kid now. It's so weird, no longer a little boy!
