Hansie

We go very few places without that hat upon his head.

As I walked around to Jack’s side of the car, I noticed his sad little face. He was looking down, fake sniffling and waiting for me to ask what was the matter. I said, “Son, why are you so sad?” He replied, “I miss Hansie.” Who is Hansie? Good question. I want to know too.

Hansie is the girl Jack talks to on the phone. Hansie and Jack sit up at night chatting. Jack is always asking Hansie to come over and play. Unfortunately, Hansie is Jack’s imaginary friend and I don’t think she will be coming over any time soon.

This all sounds familiar. As a child, Ethan’s imaginary friend was Bridgette. Hand it to Ethan to have his imaginary friend be a female. Looks like his son is following in his father’s foot steps.

Ha ha, I totally had an imaginary friend too! We would have sleepovers in the family room...I was a strange child :)

I had Kiki, Kisa and Puna. Weird, I know. I drove my mom crazy, telling her she was closing the car door on one of them, and that she had to wait for one or the other.

BTW, are you a USC fan?

Sweet Pea, of course we are USC fans. My BIL graduated from there and for that reason, that is where my loyalties lie. Tommy Trojan forever. Plus, I love Pete Carroll.

Hey Whitney, it's saturday...I hope Ethan's surgery went well. Let us know if we can do something. :)

(BTW that girl on my blog, Louise? Is the same one you knew. Dave Munoa, Louise, and I all ran in the same little circle of friends. Small world!)

Jenn, he isn't quite a ladies man yet. He is way too much of a daddy's boy.

Tiff, don't even lie. You still have imaginary friends, right? See, I know you.

Sweet Pea, because I like you, I won't post the score from the game :)

Jodi, I am sure Aiden isn't far from imaginary friend days.

Jill, thank you for your concern. We appreciate it. Everything went well, but I will post more on that later. As for Dave Munoa, I didn't know him too well. I just knew he was hilarious.

Jones, stud is putting it mildly. I am in love with that kid.
