Mango Pineapple Popsicles with Blackberry Chunks

Here is how you use up fruit. The mango and pineapple were good because they didn't need any juice to thin the puree out. But if you use fruit that needs something to thin it out, pour in a little orange juice or whatever you have in the fridge.

Like I said, you can use up whatever fruit you have. Watermelon, bananas, peaches, apples, strawberries, raspberries, limes, lemons, etc. If you find that your puree is a little tart, add a bit of honey. Another tip- if you are a big smoothie fan, you can freeze any leftover smoothie into popsicle molds. It's a good way to use up your smoothie instead of pouring it down the drain.

1 cup chopped pineapple
1/2 cup chopped mango
1/2 cup blackberries, roughly chopped

In a food processor or blender, combine the pineapple and mango. Blend until smooth. Pour mixture into a medium bowl. Gently stir in blackberries. Pour into popsicle molds or paper cups. Freeze until firm.

What kind of popsicle mold do you have?

That's an awesome idea! I usually have just enough smoothie left to fill up one of those 3oz cups! I either stuff myself with the last of it or as you said pour it down the drain. Thanks!

Oh, and your pops sound yummy. Love the flavors!

Oh man, all of these look divine! I'm trying to eat more fruits and this looks like a great way to do so. I might just make some smoothie popcicles like this one. Wouldn't that make an awesome breakfast for a hot summer morning?!
