I love your blog and I love soup :) It's so hard to pick favorites!

I bought this organic mushroom broth earlier this week and made a veggie soup with whatever was in the fridge - mushrooms, some celery, carrots, and thyme. Put some instant rice in the bottom of the bowl, pour over, and let sit :) Heaven!

Right now I make soups in my biggest pot, I would LOVE a stock pot.

My beautiful neighbor taught me how to a boil a whole chicken, and use the broth to make a soup loaded with veg. Complete with corn cob halves, and topped with fresh cilantro, sliced avocado, and a squeeze of lime. For this true rookie, it was a revelation, and completely changed the way I view soup. Combine that with your soup guide, and I've made many a fine soup since. Her original chicken veg. still remains a favorite though. YUM! I love Fall. =)
